Course Description Content Summary:  Do your patients ask for an “Extreme Esthetic Makeover” of their anterior teeth and smile line positioning? If so, this online self-study course is for you. This continuing dental education program entails the detailed analysis of contemporary anterior tooth esthetics, which is required in cosmetic tooth fabrication for patients. The program will review the cosmetic anatomical concepts that are needed to embed in anterior restorations. Color matching, enhancing esthetics in direct resin restorations, and identifying esthetic tooth structure nuances that are necessary to create lifelike and expressive anterior cosmetic restorations. The program will display models of two anterior esthetic patients to demonstrate how properly made cosmetic anterior restorations are constructed. Two clinical cases will be presented to help the participant compare and contrast proper and ultimate anterior esthetic treatment effectiveness. This online self-study course is conducted jointly with the Anesthesia Education and Safety Foundation, which provides the continuing education credit for the program.
